How to use the Create PDF
- Choose a page size (A4, Letter, Legal, A5, A3 or your own size in millimetres), portrait or landscape, and how many pages to start with. Or pick a template.
- Click "Add text" and then the page to write. Use "Table", "Image" and "Shapes" for the rest.
- Select anything to change its font, size, colour or position. Drag to move it and pull its handles to resize it.
- Add, copy, turn or reorder pages in the page list.
- Press "Download PDF".
Templates to start from. Six layouts written for File Perks: a letter, a leave application, an invoice with a price table, a landscape certificate with a frame, a notice and a CV. Each is made of ordinary text boxes, tables and shapes with [brackets] where your details go, so you can change, move or delete any part of it. They are starting points, not official forms.
Writing and arranging. Text boxes grow as you type and wrap at their width; drag the side handles to make them wider or narrower. Each box has its own font, size, colour, weight, alignment and line spacing, and the next box you add takes the style you chose last. Tables add rows and columns from the buttons above the page, and Tab moves to the next cell (in the last cell it adds a row). Pictures keep their shape when resized from a corner.
Why the result prints well. Text is written into the PDF as real text in the font you chose, with the font embedded, so it is sharp at any zoom, can be selected and searched, and looks the same on every computer and printer. Lines, frames and shapes are vector drawings. Pictures keep their own resolution (very large ones are reduced to 3,000 pixels on their long side).
When to use another tool. To turn photos or scans into a PDF, JPG to PDF is quicker: one picture per page. To change a PDF you already have, use Edit PDF. To join documents, use Merge PDF.

Good to know
- Text flows inside its own box; long text does not run on to the next page by itself. Add a page and a new box for it.
- Up to 50 pages can be made at the start; more can be added from the page list.
- Urdu and Arabic text is drawn as exact letter shapes: sharp in print, but it cannot be selected or searched.
- The document exists only in this browser tab until you download it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I type in Urdu?
Yes. Type or paste Urdu into any text box; it shows in the Noto Naskh font, right to left. Choose "Noto Naskh (Urdu, Arabic)" in the font list to use it for every letter of the box.
Can I save my work and continue later?
Download the PDF. To change it again later, open that PDF in Edit PDF: its lines can be retyped there, and new things added.
What page sizes can I use?
A4, Letter, Legal, A5 and A3, portrait or landscape, or any size from 50 to 1,500 millimetres a side. Pages of different sizes can be mixed by adding pages from another PDF.
Is there a watermark?
No. Nothing is added to your document; it is free to use.
