Merge PDF files
Join two or more PDFs into a single document, in the order you choose. Every page is copied as it is, so text stays sharp and searchable.

How to use the Merge PDF
- Add the PDF files you want to combine (drop them here, or choose them).
- Put them in order with the up and down arrows next to each file. The first file in the list comes first in the result.
- Press "Merge PDFs".
- Download merged.pdf.
Merging is the quickest way to send one tidy file instead of many: a contract with its annexes, scanned receipts for an expense claim, or chapters of a report. File Perks copies every page of every file into a new PDF, page by page, without re-printing or re-compressing it, so the quality is exactly that of your originals.
The new file takes its title and author from the first PDF in the list. Bookmarks (the outline in a PDF reader's side bar) and form fields of the original files are not carried over, because each file's bookmarks point into that file only.
Need only some pages of a file? Take them out first with Extract PDF Pages, or reorder the merged result with Organize PDF.

Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. The PDF is opened, changed and saved by your browser, on your device. Nothing is sent to File Perks or anyone else, so confidential documents stay with you.
How do I change the order of the files?
Use the up and down arrows next to each file in the list. The result follows the list from top to bottom.
Does merging reduce the quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are: text, pictures and drawings are not re-compressed. To make the merged file smaller afterwards, use Compress PDF.
Can I merge a PDF that has a password?
Not directly. Password-protected or restricted PDFs must be unlocked first (with Unlock PDF, if you know the password).
Can I add images to the PDF too?
Turn the images into a PDF with JPG to PDF first, then merge that PDF with the others.
