Free PDF and image tools.

Free Online PDF and Image Tools

Merge, split and compress PDFs, turn photos into PDFs and pages into pictures, and convert, compress or resize images. Everything runs in your browser: choose a tool, add your file, download the result.

How it works

  1. 1

    Choose a tool

Pick what you need: merge or split PDFs, compress a file, convert JPG to PDF or PDF to JPG, resize or crop an image, and more.

  2. 2

    Add your file

Drop it on the page or choose it from your device. It is opened by your browser, not uploaded.

  3. 3

    Download the result

Set the options, press the button and save the result. Several files download together as a ZIP.

Your files stay on your device

Every tool on File Perks works inside your browser. Your PDFs and images are read, changed and saved on your own device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. That matters for contracts, IDs, payslips and medical records: nothing leaves your phone or computer. The only things downloaded are the tools themselves (for example the PDF engine), from this site, the first time you use them.

Limits keep your browser responsive: 50 MB per file, 20 files at a time, images up to 50 megapixels. Read the Privacy Policy.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Every File Perks tool runs in your browser, on your own device. Your files are read, converted and saved locally; they are never sent to File Perks or anyone else.

Is File Perks free?

Yes. All tools are free to use, with no account and no watermark.

What is the largest file I can convert?

50 MB per file, up to 20 files (200 MB) at once, and images up to 50 megapixels. These limits keep your browser from running out of memory.

Which browsers work?

Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on computers and phones. Creating WebP files needs Chrome, Edge or Firefox; File Perks tells you if your browser cannot.

Will converting reduce the quality of my image?

PNG output is lossless. JPG and WebP are lossy: at 80–90% quality the change is hard to see, and lower settings trade detail for smaller files. Converting never adds quality that the original did not have.

What happens to transparency?

PNG and WebP keep transparency. JPG cannot store it, so transparent areas are filled with a background colour you choose (white by default).
