Rotate PDF pages

Fix scans and photos that came out sideways or upside down. Turn all pages at once, or single pages, and save the PDF so it always opens the right way up.

How to use the Rotate PDF

  1. Add a PDF. Every page is shown as a small picture.
  2. Turn every page with the Left, Right or 180° buttons, or turn single pages with the button under each page.
  3. Press "Save rotated PDF".
  4. Download the PDF. It opens the right way up in every reader.

Most PDF readers can turn a page on screen, but forget it when the file is closed. Rotating here changes the page's own rotation setting in the PDF, so the turn is saved in the file and seen by everyone you send it to.

Only the rotation changes: text, pictures, links, bookmarks and form fields stay as they were, and nothing is re-compressed.

Good to know

  • PDFs up to 50 MB each. Very large files need a lot of memory; a computer handles them best.
  • Password-protected or restricted PDFs are not opened here: unlock them first with Unlock PDF if you know the password.
  • Pages turn in steps of 90 degrees.

Your files are processed on your own device. They are not uploaded to File Perks or anyone else. Read the Privacy Policy.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded?

No. The PDF is opened, changed and saved by your browser, on your device. Nothing is sent to File Perks or anyone else, so confidential documents stay with you.

Can I rotate only one page?

Yes. Use the turn button under that page; each press turns it 90 degrees to the right.

Does rotating reduce the quality?

No. Only the page's rotation setting changes; its contents are untouched.

Will the rotation stay when I send the file?

Yes. The rotation is saved in the PDF, so it opens the same way everywhere.
