How to use the Image Resizer
- Add one or more images.
- Choose "Pixels" and type a width or height, or choose "Percent" and type a scale.
- Keep "Lock aspect ratio" on to avoid stretching. Turn it off to set both sides exactly.
- Pick the output format, press "Resize" and download.
With several images and the ratio locked, each image keeps its own proportions: the width you type is used, and each height follows its own image. Large reductions are done in steps, which keeps the result sharp.

Good to know
- Width and height from 1 to 40,000 pixels, and at most 50 megapixels in total.
- Enlarging an image adds pixels but not detail. Big enlargements look soft.
- Some phones cannot create very large images. If yours cannot, the result is made as large as your browser allows, and File Perks tells you.

Frequently asked questions
How do I resize without stretching?
Keep "Lock aspect ratio" on and type only the width (or only the height). The other side is calculated for you.
Can I make an image bigger?
Yes, but enlarging cannot add detail that was not there, so a big enlargement looks blurry.
Does resizing reduce the file size?
Making an image smaller in pixels almost always makes the file smaller too. For the smallest file, also use JPG or WebP at a moderate quality.
