How to use the PDF to JPG
- Add a PDF.
- Choose the image quality (72, 150 or 300 dpi), all pages or some pages, and the JPG quality.
- Press "Convert". The pages are drawn one by one.
- Download the image, or all pages together as a ZIP.
Each page is drawn by PDF.js, the PDF engine of Firefox, exactly as a PDF reader shows it, and saved as a JPG. 150 dpi gives sharp pictures for screens (an A4 page becomes about 1240 × 1754 pixels); 300 dpi doubles that for printing; 72 dpi makes small, quick previews.
JPG suits pages with photos and keeps files small. For pages of text, line drawings or anything you want pixel-perfect, use PDF to PNG instead.

Good to know
- PDFs up to 50 MB each. Very large files need a lot of memory; a computer handles them best.
- Up to 200 pages per conversion; choose "Some pages" for longer files.
- Password-protected or restricted PDFs are not opened here: unlock them first with Unlock PDF if you know the password.
- Very large pages at 300 dpi may be made smaller to fit what your browser can draw; the result then says so.
Your files are processed on your own device. They are not uploaded to File Perks or anyone else. Read the Privacy Policy.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. The PDF is opened, changed and saved by your browser, on your device. Nothing is sent to File Perks or anyone else, so confidential documents stay with you.
Which dpi should I choose?
150 dpi is right for most uses on screens. Choose 300 dpi to print the images, and 72 dpi for small previews.
Can I convert only one page?
Yes. Choose "Some pages" and type the page number, for example 3, or a range such as 2-5.
Why do I get a ZIP file?
Several images download more reliably as one ZIP. A single page downloads as one JPG.
JPG or PNG?
JPG makes smaller files and suits photos. PNG keeps text and lines perfectly crisp but is larger.
