How to use the SVG to PNG
- Add an SVG file.
- Choose the size: a scale (1×, 2×, 4×) or an exact width. The height follows the drawing's proportions.
- Keep the transparent background or pick a colour.
- Press "Convert" and download the PNG.
SVG is a vector format, so it can be drawn at any size without blur. File Perks reads the file as data and removes scripts, event handlers, embedded web content and links to outside files before drawing it. Nothing in the SVG can run.

Good to know
- SVG files up to 5 MB; output up to 8,192 pixels on the longer side.
- Images and fonts that the SVG loads from other websites are not fetched, so text in a web font may show in a fallback font. Embedded (data:) images are kept.
- Animations are drawn as their first frame.
Your files are processed on your own device. They are not uploaded to File Perks or anyone else. Read the Privacy Policy.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my text look different?
If the SVG uses a web font from another site, that font is not loaded (for your safety and privacy). Convert text to outlines in your design app first, or embed the font in the SVG.
How big can the PNG be?
Up to 8,192 pixels on the longer side. For icons, 2× or 4× of the original size gives a crisp result on high-resolution screens.
Is it safe to open an SVG from someone else?
File Perks never puts the SVG into the page. It strips anything that could run and draws it as a plain image, which browsers handle without running scripts.
